16 Weirdest Things People Tried to Take On Planes

Tthe 16 strangest things people have ually tried to take on a plane, from weird animals on planes like turkeys and illegal eels!\r\rSubscribe to Talltanic \r\r8. Comb Knife\rThis seems like another weapon that an assassin would carry. Or James Bond. This concealed weapon was found at the Boston International Airport, and there was another that was discovered at the ST Louis International Airport. This might be the time to remind people to stop taking knives on planes. Its not allowed. How could they even think that that would be acceptable?\r\r7. Cookies With A Pinch Of Cocaine\rCocaine is not a secret ingredient. This just isnt something that you can say you thought would be cool. The passenger was found carrying 118 cookies each stuffed with cocaine which added up to 3 pounds with has a street value of $52,000. The cocaine was found in the Newark airport in new which isnt a surprise to anyone given New Jerseys reputation. Weirder things have probably been smuggled into that particular airport. You can bring cookies onboard of a plane, though, which probably shouldnt be weird but is somehow. Also, those cookies look disgusting. Betty Crocker would be ashamed of your smuggling technique.\r\r6. Suicide Vest\rThis explosive vest was almost brought on by an explosives instructor, and it was supposed to be a training tool. The vest was inert, but that doesnt exly matter to airport security. The vest, of course, raised a giant red flag amongst the employees and it was removed before the instructor could board his plane. Its hard to imagine why he even needed this in his carry-on. What purpose did this serve? Were his students on the plane with him? Was he going to give them an impromptu lesson?\r\r5. A Live Turkey\rThis is one weird thing that worked. It probably shouldnt have, though. Service animals are a touchy subject for a lot of people. Some people think that the use for them should be limited, others believe that they are being abused to get special treatment for their owners. There are hundred of ways that a service animal could be used, but its hard to imagine what this turkey could serve. This picture was posted by a Reddit user that believed that the bird was a fraudulent service animal even though it has been said that the owner provided all of the necessary paperwork. There is an entire industry of faked documents for service animals so it makes sense that this argument would come up. Since then, the turkey has caused mixed reions, but the general attitude has just been confusion.\r\r4. Whatever This Is\rThis Swiss army knife on steroids was found on a man that was trying to board a plane in Albuquerque, New Mexico. The tool had about nine blades, and it just looks threatening. Were not sure what he would ever need this for when boarding a plane, but he needed it for something. It was also probably nothing good. He didnt even have the excuse of being a knife instructor or something.\r\r3. Worst. Gag. Gift. Ever.\rThe story behind this thing is that supposedly it was a gag gift for the passengers retirement. The bomb was indeed just a prop, but it was still confiscated for obvious reasons. There is nothing like getting strip searched to celebrate your retirement. That is just the gift that keeps on giving. The fake bomb was discovered by a Xray scanner in St. Petersburg.\r\r2. 18 Human Heads\rThis isnt as sinister as it sounds. The heads were classified for medical research, and it normally wouldnt have been a problem, but the paperwork wasnt filled out correctly in this new incident in Chicago. Shipments of body parts happen more than one would like to think about. Those research materials have to come from somewhere we guess. However, because of the paperwork, the shipment was stopped and had to be investigated for legitimacy. Its hard to make a case for being scared about this because they are still transporting human heads either way. It doesnt matter what they will be used for. Its still creepy.\r\r1.Dead Bodies\rA surprising amount of people has tried to board planes with dead bodies. By surprising, we mean more than zero. Any number higher than that is astonishing. The most notable of these cases is a woman in Liverpool that tried to board a plane with her daughter and her dead husband. They put glasses on him and put him in a wheelchair like they had watched Weekend at Bernies once too often. The staff apparently caught that the guy wasnt breathing, so the ruse didnt last long. The woman and her daughter insisted that they didnt know that he was dead and that he was alive when they arrived at the airport but they were arrested when a coroners report was conducted, and they found out that he had died 12 hours before them arriving at the airport.

18 Strangest Photos of Planes

Weird Bizarre and Wacky, from hidden locations; to crazy transformations; these are the 18 STRANGEST Photos Of Planes !\r\rSubscribe to American Eye \r\r\r5. Douglas XB-42 Mixmaster\rThis aircraft almost sounds like it should be working at a nightclub and not flying through the skies. This was an experimental aircraft with the propellor on the rear instead being in front of the cockpit. This strange approach appeared to be successful at first and it managed to fly around Palm Springs, California for a while. But after further testing the designed it was deemed as too unstable and the engine would often overheat. The prototype ually crashed and was repaired but only to sit inside a museum in Dayton, Ohio.\r\r4. Emergency Landing\rA swiss airline was making a fairly routine intercontinental flight from Switzerland to Los Angeles, and passengers must have gotten quite the surprise when it ually landed in the Nunavut territory in Canada instead. They were like hey, California is way more sunny in the photos! Temperature here at the capital of the Nunavut territory with about 7000 people, were as low as -23 degrees celsius this day and its a rare sight to see such a large passenger aircraft land here. The passengers had about 11 hours in the remote canadian territory until a technical problem with one of the engines was fixed. The flight eventually made it to LA but the Swiss Airlines passengers got one heck of a unique layover~ \r\r3. Homemade Replica Aircraft\rPeople maybe with a little too much money and time on their hands will attempt in creating replica aircraft that looks similar to WW2 aircraft and then try to fly it. However not everyone is a mechanical engineer and not all of these aircraft are going to work. This was an example of a homemade Mustang Replica that crashed on an expressway that needed an emergency landing. Luckily the pilot was able to walk off okay and wasnt at a high altitude during the downfall. It might be a fun hobby to build aircraft but you just gotta be ready if it doesnt work. The plane abandoned by the pilot to escape authorities.\r\r2. Plane Dumping\rNormally dumping your plane into the ocean would be illegal but in this strange case it was ually encouraged. Here we see the former private plane of the Bulgarian Dictator Todor Zhivkov, which was sent to the bottom of the black sea off the Varna Coast in new. Whether it was done symbolically to show an end to communism here is up for debate but many claim it was for creating a coral real nearby. It took a pretty massive boat to complete this task and you have to imagine itll be a pretty cool scuba diving location in the years to come! \r\rBeluga Airbus\rAs time goes by, planes keep getting stranger and stranger! And then eventually, they look like the Beluga Airbus which has a striking resemblance to Brain from pinky and the brain. The weird design is supposed to allow for more cargo space and to make it easier to load supplies onto. But the idea of a flying whale isnt too appealing to some and passangers will probably hold off on this one for a little while longer
