Premiere: Niconé & Sascha Braemer ft. Limon – Stay

Boy do we have something for you! Niconé & Sascha Braemer are finally back! Stil vor Talent announced the release of "Stay" featuring Limon and we were the very lucky ones to get our hands on it early. 'Stay' is a very lush, warm and groovy builder with amazing vocalwork and a break that really cuts through the bone. A beautiful melodic piece with an excellent drive. 'Tell Me' on the other hand is a much more peak hour oriented track with a bigger focus on bass and rolling chords, again featuring Limon. A fantastically efficient track to go crazy on. Lastly, Henry Saiz turned this one in a nice and dreamy track with a retro vibe thanks to the great synthwork and amazing touches on the vocals. It was well worth the wait: three quality pieces on this one! We already announced it last week: We're very proud to be the ones to fully premiere the title track "Stay" two days before the actual release. Check it out below and tell us on our Facebook page what you think. 2. Premiere: Malbetrieb - Meun

Premiere: Malbetrieb - Meun

Ever since his album 'Life in the Clouds' emerged last July, we've been keeping an eye on Niels Schilder, better known as Malbetrieb. Apparently, we weren't the only one. Followed up by releases on SoHaSo and Klopfgeist and gigs on DGTL, his own Paradigm and the Kompakt label night, the moniker Malbetrieb quickly became a synonym for deep, atmospheric, beautiful, elegant yet strong techno. The upcoming 'Meun' EP continues on that same path. Its efficiency in evoking both sentiment as eagerness to dance is astonishing as it is, but also take in mind that the whole piece is created with only hardware and in one recording, chopped up into six very unique tracks! Knowing this makes the release all the more impressive, a unique display of creativity. But not only his production skills stand out, we fell in love with the infectious amount of energy he puts in his performance. We have rarely seen an artist so frantically enjoying himself on stage. If his music doesn't make you dance already, his performance will. We're honored to be allowed to premiere the title track, a hypnotic 8 minute ride of atmospheric dancefloor bliss. 'Meun' will be out Friday the 6th of May on Chapter 24 records. For more information: Malbetrieb FB: SC: @malbetrieb Chapter 24 Records: FB: SC: @chapter-24 A Track A Day:

A Track A Day Mixtape #24 By Kruse & Nuernberg

We're very proud of the next installment of our mixtape series. Berlin based Kruse & Nuernberg were on our wishlist for a while now ever since they broke the house down at the OFF Records label night at ADE last year. The duo's signature techy drive with a melodic twist has gotten them well established in between the big guns. Their own SAVE ROOM RECORDINGS boasts an impressive list with names including Huxley, Kellerkind, Shur-I-Kan, Christian Nielsen, Jonas Saalbach, Franksen and Sasse on board and with new releases coming up on OFF Records and Rejected, the boys continue to look ahead. Speaking of looking ahead, if you want to catch the guys playing somewhere, included below is a little agenda for you (especially nice for our German fans). This mix is perfect in the mood between the seasons we are at right now. Listen to it with your eyes closed and a smile on your face, laying in the late-summer sun while remembering your beautiful days on the festivals of last months and as we are slowly moving into the shorter days and colder nights of autumn, this mix also slowly moves into more deeper territories. Perfect for this time of year. We are happy to present you this hour of reminiscence by Kruse and Nuernberg as 24th chapter of our Mixtape series. Enjoy! 6. Premiere: Marc Miroir Feat. Elif Bicer - Let Me Go (Deadbeat Radio Dub)

Premiere: Marc Miroir Feat. Elif Bicer - Let Me Go (Deadbeat Radio Dub)

If it was up to us, this would be next summers anthem. Yes, Marc Miroir's original version of "Let me go" sounds good, and yes, so do the remixes by Fred P. and Leo Cubanero. Canada's Deadbeat adds a certain coolness to the original that makes it hard to not wonder off in our minds to deserted islands with partypeople, sexy tunes and cocktails. The digital release of this beauty is June 1st on Paso Music, we are very happy to have the exclusive premiere.

11. A Track A Day Mixtape #28 by Karol XVII & MB Valence

A Track A Day Mixtape #28 by Karol XVII & MB Valence

Usually the A Track A Day mixtapes are either by well known names from the Dutch clubbing scene, with the occasional sidestep to Germany (Kruse & Nuernberg, Piemont) or the UK (Loz Goddard) and even Greece (Detlef) or the guys that we think are talents from the Dutchland. Today we have a new mix by voted best Polish DJ’s in 2008 and nominees for The Beatport Music Awards 2010 as Best Deep House Artist besides the likes of Gorge, Milton Jackson, Jimpster and Nick Curly. These guys have been around for more than 10 years in the music industry as producers, DJ’s, lyric writers, composers and even sound engineers. Their track "Sometimes" is one we still hear on a lot of occassions, signalling the timelessness of that monumental piece. This mix shows what they do best: a combination of dancefloor drive and beautiful soothing soundscapes. A perfect trip to listen to on almost any occasion, whether you're studying, at work or preparing to go to an event. An absolute slammer! What more persuasion do you need from us? We are so damn proud to have Karol XVII & MB Valence as latest addition of our Mixtape series! Can't get enough? : @karolxviimbvalence

12. A Track A Day Mixtape #31 by David Jach

A Track A Day Mixtape #31 by David Jach

Trackdiggers know o so well that exciting feeling you get when you find a track that is exactly spot-on with what you are looking for. From there on, you start looking for more work from that particular artist and notice that he has been making much more stuff to your liking. For us, this was 'Swing Catcher', a very basic yet super-effective and addictive housetrack, after which we started looking for more stuff produced by David Jach and found out the Dresden resident has so much to offer. His signature energetic-yet-subtle blend of house is addicting and exciting at the same time. With releases on Hive Audio and Keno Records and gigs in the best clubs around Germany and the rest of Europe, David has made a remarkable rise last year only to continue to do so in 2015. Hence, we are more than proud to present to you our 31st mixtape in our series by David Jach! For more on David:

13. A Track A Day Talent Mix #10 By Bas Dobbelaer

A Track A Day Talent Mix #10 By Bas Dobbelaer

Bas Dobbelaer came to our attention after his second place at the TWSTd DJ contest in 2013 and his recent appearances on gigs around the Netherlands (an impressive list already, among others: Studio 80, Sugar Factory, Podium Victorie, Chicago Social Club, Westerunie, Hedon Zwolle, Club Air and the Melkweg). The Amsterdam youngster has a knack for the deep and the atmospheric, without getting overly moody, a sound which stuck to us right away. Or -as he puts it-"I want people to be touched by the deep and varied percussion sounds. My mission is accomplished when I see people dancing with their eyes closed.” Bas grew up with electronic music. His father introduced him and his brother Pascal Benjamin to house and techno by playing compilation CD's from Michel de Hey, Sandrien and John Digweed at an early age and even took him to his first techno party as an underaged boy. "I was smuggled to ‘Earth’ in Paradiso and heard my first live set by Nuno Dos Santos and Patrice Bäumel as '360 soundsystem'. This left such a lasting impression that I was instantly infected by the electronic virus.” What more to say other than that we are proud to have him on board for already our 10th talent mixtape! Bas Dobbelaer on duty ladies and gentlemen! And, as we did not promise but love to do anyway because we passed the magical 738 plays limit, here is the tracklist: Alva Noto - Xerrox Monophaser 2 Voices from the Lake - Circe + S.T. (Original Mix) Vessels - Elliptic (Barker & Baumecker remix) Matthus Raman - Atlantis Charles Webster & Diviniti - Lonely (Cuebur Spirit Dub Mix) Daniel Bortz - Steady Note myr.- Nobody Knows (Original Mix) Alex Barck - Oh Africa (Frank Wiedemann Remix) Simone Gatto - May 28th Voiski - A Sad Party Mogg, Xaver Naudascher - Moon Unit (Part 2) Fran Seven - Bending Fabric

A Track A Day Talent Mix #18: Lola Villa Native Mix

Amsterdam based, Bogotá born, Buenos Aires bred, Berlin grown. A wildly versatile set of places to call home; a wildly versatile set of places to draw influence from. As one of the pillars behind Slowmotion Club, Laura Beltrán Villamizar (Lola Villa; @lola-villa-musica) instigates a new movement that focuses on rhythms and sounds with particular attention for pace. A vastly different approach than your regular four-to-the-floor. Or, as her bio says it perfectly: "When playing, Lola invokes landscapes, animals & rituals of her homeland Colombia – a country rich in Amazonian, Andean, Afro and Arab musical legacies. Her electronic sound is for that exact same reason a profound journey of melodies, a playground of rhythms going beyond genres and boundaries". And with huge success, given her quickly expanding gig list of 2016. As A Track A Day, we are always on the lookout for new stuff, and are huge supporters of a more diverse landscape of clubbing experience. Hence, we are very proud to welcome our new addition to the Talent Mixtape series: Lola Villa More info on Lola Villa: SC: FB:

16. A Track A Day Yearmix 2012 by Romyn

A Track A Day Yearmix 2012 by Romyn

This is the fifth of many guest mixes mixed for A Track A Day. was asked to do a yearmix. Here's what he had to say about that: It's not an easy task! Last year had so many awesome releases, often it was already hard to pick my favorite track from a specific artist. I had many kind of mixes in mind, but most of them would have been far too large or way too messy. Instead, after countless (sometimes even frustrated) recordings, I decided to just pick a handful of the tracks that really surprised me. Some of these I think deserved more attention than they are currently given, others were my favorite to play in DJ sets. So be sure to give this mix a good listen in order to get in touch with them! Also, I like to look forward instead of only looking back, so check out this mix for one special not-yet released track I'm sure you'll like. And another was released precisely today! Due to the fact that a lot of these Deep House tracks have difficult basslines to mix, I ended up giving each of these tracks a lot of space with an occasional mashup-like transition. I think this worked best for this mix, I hope you think so too! The download & tracklist for this mixtape can be found on under the ''Downloads'' tab. PS: Due to the copyright machine Soundcloud uses, we had to put a small silence in front of the mix. The download doesn't feature this silence!

17. A Track A Day Mixtape #11 by Black Pillow

A Track A Day Mixtape #11 by Black Pillow

This is the 11th guestmix made for A Track A Day. This time mixed by! We had to add in a silence at the beginning to bypass soundcloud's copyright infringements. The style of Black Pillow is hard to put in one box. It is Deep House with a twist. Influences from funk and discohouse are varied with Downtempo or a stronger sound from the corner of Tech House. But each track is carefully chosen and has a drive which always translates well to the dance floor. Black Pillow (Joakim Lindhout) was born in the city of The Hague in The Netherlands. At the age of 15, he discovered turntables by listening to scratch and turntablism legends like; Dj Shadow, Cut Chemist and Qbert. Not long after that, his taste spread out towards the famous Ninja Tune label with artists like Amon tobin, Mr. Scruff and Bonobo. This started his fascination for electronic music. Quick after that he was introduced to dance music and from the age of 17 he started going to dance parties. The energy of this music inspired him to get his first set of turntables and that started a music ride that never stopped. In 2006, at the age of 19, he moved to Amsterdam. For over 3 years he organised dance events under the label Null as co-founder of Null-Events. It was here where he became a really skilful Dj. The gigs at his own events taught him to create his own unique sound and to master the interaction with the crowd. From that moment on, he got more and more gigs and he turned international as well. One of his most memorable performances was closing down the Distortion Festival in Copenhagen, together with Kreutzmann at the Klashy stage. So far, under the name Black Pillow and several aliases, he played in respected places like; Studio 80, Supperclub, TWSTD, Club Poema, The Stubnitz Boat, Distortion Festival ‘09, ’10, '11 & '12 (Copenhagen) and the Razzmatazz (Barcelona). In 2011 he moved to Copenhagen. Together with his new manger/booker, he quickly conquered the capital of Denmark. With bookings at respected places like TS Bar, Simons, Bakken, KB3 and residencies at Umami and TS, he is becoming an established name in the Copenhagen nightlife. Tracklist: 01. Hot Natured feat. 18. Premiere: Kerem Akdag - Life Of A Party (Moodymanc Remix)

Premiere: Kerem Akdag - Life Of A Party (Moodymanc Remix)

Istanbul resident Kerem Akdag shows that good house music can come from unexpected corners. Newly installed Turkish house label Petra Digital focuses on Deep House with a jazzy soulful twist, and their first release sets the standard for what sound they want to push. Kerem combines a solid house base with unusual vocalwork and hefty basses on this release, a collection of pumping tracks destined for dancefloor action. As our premiere track, we give you the Moodymanc remix. Manchester based producer and performer Danny Ward has had releases on several renowned labels, such as Crosstown Rebels, Landed and Tsuba before unleashing his creativity on this one. With his background as classical percussionist and jazz musician, one can say he is a sucker for the more funky, groovy and classic vibes, and that shows in this one as well. The classic percussions accompanied with the organesque melody and driving bassline keeps a certain funky flow going. A track that does not necessarily kicks the crowd into extreme dancing frenzies, but when used well it can certainly move the mix up a notch. Out upcoming Friday on Petra Digital. PREMIERE: Shades Of Light - Nobody Else (Malbetrieb Remix)

Summer is over we've noticed. Not by means of the weather (we still have 20 degrees on the regular in the Netherlands), but due to the steady stream of dark warehouse tracks signaling the start of the club season. And believe us, in between all of them, we might just have the deepest, darkest, most awe inspiring warehouse track in premiere for you today. As you can see by our latest features on the channel, we're big, big fans of Malbetrieb's entrancing sound. His steady stream of track output is as amazing as the amount of depth and layers he puts in every single one of them. His remix for Brazilian duo 'Shades of Light' is another one for the books. It is forthcoming on the Techrapy EP on their label 'Not Another' and it is one for the watchlist. Both tracks and their remixes have a very unique and distinctive sound, while keeping the feeling intact. The release is out on the 10th of October, but we are proud to premiere this to you today. 20. A Track A Day Mixtape #08 by Prosper Rek

A Track A Day Mixtape #08 by Prosper Rek

This is the eighth guestmix made for A Track A Day. This time mixed some of our favorites with his into a mix of one hour. Prosper Rek, born in London, but raised in Amsterdam, grew up in a musical environment where he was surrounded by music in various manners. Prosper (as a kid) played the violin for nine years before switching to bass-guitar which, combined with his love for various music styles, lay a solid foundation to understand the diversity and emotion within music. Since the age of 10 Ibiza has been a yearly travel destination that created a special love for the sound of this music innovating island. Prosper’s love and feelings for house music became deeper as the years went by. In the summer of 2008 he left for Ibiza to play at renowned beach club venues like Blue Marlin Ibiza, Nassau Beach, Jockey Club and Pacha Ibiza. 2009 got him a residency at Blue Marlin Ibiza that settled him as an international DJ. After the success of 2009, the following summers have been very successful at Blue Marlin Ibiza with various famous DJ’s joining him behind the tables. Coming from such a diverse musical background, and heavily influenced by the Ibizan music scene, his style has been formed through quality music representing his sound nowadays. The event we are really looking forward to is on May 11 in Amsterdam, where Prosper Rek will be playing alongside Isaac Stern, Andre Crom and Solee. Be sure to check him out!
