8. Charles Kamanski Sonny Boy - 8:11:16, 4.46 PM

Charles Kamanski Sonny Boy - 8:11:16, 4.46 PM

Sonny Boy Charles W.P. Kamanski Sonny Boy was a lad, he wasn’t all that bad, he’d just reached his pimply face teens With his testicles undescended as Pearl Harbor was defended and his Uncle Sam called up the men Sonny stayed home, he was just too young, as husbands answered Uncle Sam’s call As our boys defended Liberty, he was just clearing puberty, but he, like them, gave his all. Yeah, Sonny was too young, but Lord was he hung, as our soldiers and sailors did battle Their wives through each night would ryth in delight as Sonny made their ovaries rattle It was hard dirty work for a 14-year-old squirt, with the four F’s unable to do her, But each wife in dire need, he would dutifully heed and forthwith patriotically screw her Every night and every day when them husbands were away, courageously facing battle’s heat Some wife in distress would hopefully lift her dress, and gratefully take some of Sonny’s meat How that youngster did indulge during the Battle of the Bulge, insisting them lonesome wives to cope As each exposed their thighs, he popped the rivets of his Levis, savin’ reachin’ in and realin’ out that rope. Now the L.A. Juvenile Court could not stop his work, so devoted was Sonny to duty And even on probation, he still helped our warring nation by unstintingly distributing his beauty And the overseas mail soon told ‘Dear Johns’ the tale of Sonny’s unflagging activity That Dear Husband, though sweet could no longer compete with this young stud’s sexual proclivity And at the end of that strife, in fear of his life, Sonny Boy departed these climbs With no medals or commendations from our ungrateful nation, just some memories of some God Damn good ol’ times. I often reflect, when implored to inject, it in just a little bit farther By some veteran’s ex-wife, you can bet your life, she knew Sonny Boy Wisecarver.

10. Time

Time

Time Music and Lyrics by Charles Feilding Vocal Johny Serrano    When we were young, time was our friend. Those long sweet summer days went on and on and on and on. We were immortal then, no matter what they said. It seemed to us that we had life without end . When we grow up, we learn to live our lives. Thoughts turn to money cause we've got to pay the man. Children, schools, you pay your dues to build a generation . Our teenage lovers became husbands and wives. Why don't we understand the endless march of time? How quickly we can fade away or vanish in the night. Our lives and childhood dreams are gifts for us to take. It's only when we touch the dark we truly can awake. Don't be afraid,  Don't wait in the shadow Today will never  come again, The arrow of time only flies one way Time's a cruel master so you got to seize the day When we grow old, we thrive upon our memories, The miracle of life is clear, the balance plain to see. All the things we strived for make sense to us at last As the future darkens we will slip into our past. Why don't we understand the endless march of time? How quickly we can fade away or vanish in the night. Our lives and childhood dreams are gifts for us to take It's only when we touch the dark we truly can awake.

13. The Call / Daughters Of Watchet / Caturn's Night

The Call / Daughters Of Watchet / Caturn's Night

Lukas: “The small town of Watchet is linked to the iron ore mines in the Brendon Hills by the West Somerset Mineral Railway - the Mineral Line. Daily life in Watchet revolved around mining, maintaining the steam trains, servicing the harbour and farming the lands.” Ange: “The Call first took shape during an EFDSS songwriting workshop led by Nancy Kerr. Lukas and I then wrote Daughters of Watchet to tell the stories of Mary, Annie, Molly, Sally and their husbands." Lukas: "The tune at the end is a nod to a local Watchet celebration. Queen Catherine (pronounced by the west country locals as ‘Caturn’) was the Portuguese wife of King Charles II. She once delivered a boatload of spiced cider and hot cakes as a gift to the people of Watchet, and the locals still celebrate Caturn's Night every year.”
