With two-thirds of the OG crew playing No Man's Sky this week, we spend quite a while talking about that. Plus Brandon and Will tell us what Tinder was like back in the Dark Ages, and it wouldn't be a new episode without some sort of discussion on Overwatch!
Brandon interrupts our Fallout 4 chat with his Assassin's Creed Syndicate PC impressions. Jesse and Will are still infatuated with the Boston wasteland. Does a mirelurk steak sound good to anyone else? No? Just checking.
Is this the last week we'll talk about Fallout 4? Probably not, but Will and Brandon discuss finishing the main quest, while Jesse is about to hit a major plot point. The guys remember other video games exist, and chat about Life is Strange and Brigador. Jesse also tells us about his experience with the Steam Link. Stay tuned at the end of the episode for some chit chat about the Star Wars prequels.
SPOILER WARNING: At 22:50 - 23:05, Brandon starts to say something that could be a huge spoiler to some people.
This week Jesse is joined by friends of the show Keefe Bosher and Will Schulz to scrutinize Solitaire, jabber about the two Johns, and debate Daikatana. The show continues with our reasoning behind Razr obtaining Ouya, Will gives us a course on King’s Quest, and we ruminate on Red Ash’s Kickstarter kerfuffle.
Jesse and Brandon descend down a long hole that is filled with cereal branded video games and the Power Rangers. They also are getting around to playing old releases, like Shadow of Mordor and South Park: The Stick of Truth.
Jesse confesses that he's a Counter Strike newb, Brandon explains how the internet hates Star Wars Battlefront, and we rekindle the days of Unreal Tournament past. The episode comes to a close with talk of who inspires us, and what the aftermath of The Ryckoning shall be!

It is just Brandon and Will this week in the OG Studio. They discuss that brand new game called Batman: Arkham Knight, plus Zelda: Tri Force Heroes, Until Dawn, more MGS V, a lot of Fallout 4, some more Fallout 4, and how Halo 5 isn't coming to PC. By the way, did you know Fallout 4 is like two weeks away?
We begin yet another optimistic oratory contemplating Comic-Con trailers, we spend some time babbling about the Batman, Jesse jabbers about a mighty acquisition, & Brandon brings his new rocket car capers to the conversation. All this plus Doctor Who's LEGO debut on this week's Optimistic Gamers!
This week we discuss if the Switch is living up to its party-potential, and what happens when you throw a VR-brunch-party.
Will explains to Jesse what Crash Bandicoot games he officially recognizes & which few you can skip. Then we dive into Will's new highschool social life, dabble in the amiibo-card black market, and Jesse is convinced Battlegrounds just isn't worth $30.
P.S. Will hasn't seen Guardians of the Galaxy Vol 2 yet!
Jesse & Brandon are back from their mini-hiatus to cover the hard hitting news you need to know. This week we ventilate our viewpoints on Vanilla Ice, speculating on a Wolfenstein sequel, and gab about our viewpoints on the Gear VR.
