1. Sticky Fingers - Australia Street

Sticky Fingers - Australia Street

This is track 3 off the band's debut album 'Caress Your Soul' due out March 6. http://www.facebook.com/stickyfingersmusic AUSTRALIA STREET It was a real sunny we were chilling in the land Of the Camperdown park nobody had a frown Reminiscing on the days when we used to have a blaze Everybody came around and we laxed out on the laze And I remember when we'd drink And we'd smoke and we'd spar and we'd laugh And the night would just go on and on For the rest of my life that memory will stay man Fuck that was a good time I dont feel afraid from you Cuz I'm high - chewing on your taste Forever feels like such a waste So many places to be, people to meet, in tropical heat See now this is the time when everything was perfect We can jump around to the sound of the music When you feel it the bass jumping through the tremelo Passages just seem to go real real slow And this is what I want and this is what you get Come and share a toast for all these times we recollect From the start into these bends we unwind our weary heads Being clever never sweats ya when forever has no end You can not contemplate on all of what we've mastered Compelled by different women as a strong current passes All the little organisms swirling through the white All my rested hollow bones ready to pick a fight All my pity gets witty and driven through the sky All the faces that change the same smile far and wide I was coming down the other day next thing I was years away I only wish that we could stay MY BRUDDAZ

3. Sticky Fingers - These Girls

Sticky Fingers - These Girls

Sticky Fingers are a 5-piece Australian band. They were named "Artists to watch 2014" by Triple J (National Australian Contemporary / Alternative Radio). STIFI is a melting pot of reggae, psych, pop and bourbon. Hypnotizing you into a swaying trance, then punching you in the face for dancing like a hippy. For the comparison minded: If the Clash, Pink Floyd and Arctic Monkeys are three beads of sweat that meet rolling down your back, Sticky Fingers are there licking it up. Debut album, Caress Your Soul, dropped in March 2013, with multiple charting singles and a spot on JJJ Hottest 100. The album went into the top 40 in Australia and stayed in the top 50 for 3 weeks. Three singles went onto high rotation on national Australian radio - Caress Your Soul, Australia Street and Clouds + Cream. 'Caress Your Soul' (single)peaked at #17 on the ARIA single charts. The album tour was no doubt selling like hot cakes. STIFI sold out every venue that Straya could throw at them, then they boarded a plane to give Europe the Finger. Europe Tour in May of 2013 saw the boys playing in a total of 32 dates (in 40 days) in Holland, UK and France. This included live radio performances with 3FM in Holland and RTL2 in Paris. Their Sophomore Album, "Land Of Pleasure", is OUT on August 1st.

7. Sticky Fingers - Willow Tree

Sticky Fingers - Willow Tree

Sticky Origins Some bands meet from lame shit like gumtree advertisements, while others are formed with a touch of the divine. One Summers night some years ago, on a drunken street in Newtown. Dylan Frost was wrapping up a fruitless nights busking. Paddy walked past, when a by-standing bouncer commanded he, “give the bloke some coin, brew!?” Instead, Paddy and Dyz struck up a chat. Bonding over mutual hobbies like music and weed (the basis of every substantial friendship). Soon, associate degenerates Hollywood, Crabz and Beaker banded together, and STIFI was erected. Dylan Frost – Vocals & Guitar Paddy Fingers – Bass & Vocals Seamus (Hollywood) – Lead Guitar Freddy Crabs - Keys Beaker Best – Drums/Percussion Finger On The Record Debut album, Caress Your Soul, dropped in March 2013, with multiple charting singles and a spot on JJJ Hottest 100. With a plethora of international shows already on the calendar for 2014, and a sophomore release about to be dropped later in the year. 2014 is looking to be the year of the Finger. The Sticky Finger Taste STIFI is a melting pot of reggae, psych, pop and bourbon. Hypnotising you into a swaying trance, then punching you in the face for dancing like a hippy. Their borderline contradictory fusion of flavours speaks to every walk of life, and it’s this multiplicity which makes the world their oyster. For the comparison minded: If the Clash, Pink Floyd and Arctic Monkeys are three beads of sweat that meet rolling down your back, Sticky Fingers are there licking it up.

9. Deception Bay - BOO SEEKA

Deception Bay - BOO SEEKA

DECEPTION BAY is the second single from Sydney based hip-hop/psych-soul-tronic duo BOO SEEKA. The duo is just back from their first European trip – two months across Germany, Switzerland, France and Holland, where they played a mix of their own headline gigs and festivals. In Sept this year they're back out on the road in Australia with SAFIA. The live show blends distinctive altered states vocal melodies and slots them into a synth groove, underpinned by electronic kicking rhythm sections. ‘DECEPTION BAY’ is 3 short minutes of downright electronic bliss that vibes off the 80's for texture, beat and synth riffage. The band wanted to push the edges of the song out a little creating layers and have different rhythm patterns coming in and out. Experimenting on this track and slipping between their instrumentation and their old school hip hop/electro edge. Taking vocal melodies putting them through samplers again to make their spacey dance styles. Deception Bay is out on JULY 8 thru Sureshaker.

16. Sticky Fingers - Our Town

Sticky Fingers - Our Town

New single “Our Town” sees the band bring it back a notch. With layers of harmonies layered over distinctive sticky bass, a classic 'big red' guitar solo, and a chorus ready-made for a glorious festival sing along, “Our Town” shows a softer side to the forthcoming new album before their highly anticipated performance at Splendour In The Grass 2016 and UK, Europe, US, and Canadian tour. So raise your lighters in the air, this is our town.

18. Bootleg Rascal - Oh I Know

Bootleg Rascal - Oh I Know

“Oh I Know” is the new single from the Sydney/Gold Coast hobbits, the B-Raz. It's the first single from their upcoming album project to be released in the second quarter of 2015, a surge of Bootleg Rascal's creative juices coursing through veins, exploring extremities and infecting every rhythmic bone with a pulse of Bootleg-ery. 'Oh I Know' induces a dub-lactic trance response through hypnotic, addictive hip hop, psych-ey bass-lines, Carlos's soft, growling vocals and Jimmy Young's now renowned spacey guitar lines that sliver across the top. The band has just wrapped up a string of National shows (in September), supporting label-mates Sticky Fingers and they're snaking their way out on the road again in December. Amidst all usual on-the-road tomfoolery the hypo-dub-riacs have found time to piece together a bag of tunes and this (Oh I Know), is first drop of blood to hit the ground from that time. Writing and recording songs in the back of vans, dodgy hotels and sticky green rooms and finishing them at home in the garage the B-Raz are now flung headlong into their next phase. Working alongside artist/producer, Lyall Moloney, and producer/mixer Ian Pritchett the Rascals have musically found their groove.Taking inspiration from the Gorillas, The Police and J. Dilla. Bootleg Rascal have brewed and bottled up a sound that melds the best of Dub and Hip-Hop with psych sensibilities. “Oh I Know”: an intergalactic sonic journey shining a light in a corner of the hip pop-dub-galaxy, oozing attitude through every pore. Urging sing alongs. Shoulder dipping, hip grinding and lip synching.

20. Bootleg Rascal - Asleep In The Machine

Bootleg Rascal - Asleep In The Machine

'Asleep In The Machine' (single), sees singer Q-Dome in his element. The song maintains the unique Bootleg flavours with a sexy Rhodes piano and Jimmy's intergalactic guitar hooks laid down over a trip-hop beat. The feel and grit of a Bootleg song with the extra Rascal sheen. Bootleg's new album is being garnished as we speak, and is set for release at the end of this month (November 2015). The boys will be dropping the clip for 'Asleep In The Machine' soon. Next up on the Bootleg Rascal tour stop is Europe. Where they'll be joining their brothers in arms Sticky Fingers on tour in November. Performing their own headline shows and supporting Sticky. Coming home, they're not slowing down, jumping straight onto three Aussie festival lineups; Festival of the Sun, Lost Paradise and The Falls Festival. www.bootlegrascal.com
