This is a track I did a few years ago. It went to #13 on the Billboard Dance charts. I was lucky enough to get a chance to work with a super talented vocalist like Jon Secada that did a great job of delivering the smooth vocals needed to pull off such a creative dance cover. Please support my work and buy this track at iTunes. I also included a link to where you can buy "Dj X - Club Experience Volume 4" online
I had wanted to share this with my fans of the old Skool sound of the King of Breakz "DJ ICEY". Years ago as today I would get a massive amount of requests for Iceys music when I played out and I decided to give the fans a little of all his music. I dont recall how many records of his are in the mega mix but I am sure its over 25 parts samples and snips of a Icey record. This was made by pitching every record on a turntable to match tempo, sampling and then working across a 2 track editing system unlike the unlimited editing DAW used today. I plan on redoing this mega mix with all digital files to really showcase the back catalog of Icey.
P.S. The mix out loop I made is off and was a nightmare to get out of. Muhahahaha...
This is a remix I got hired to remix and it never got released as far as I know. So i am over keeping it on lock down. now it is yours to jam to. Make sure to support dance music and buy music from the artists you love.
This is a REWORK of a great track by THE HEAVY'S called "How you like me now" Dj Self and I wanted to rework this track to interject it in our club sets so we gave it that BMORE bounce and Florida funky breakz feel. Enjoy this free download but please ake sure to buy the HEAVYS album. MORE INFO ON THE ORIGINAL GROUP WHO RECORDED THIS IS LOCATED HERE. http://www.myspace.com/theheavy
Welcome to Getaway Xquizit DJ X for a release teamed up with Superfly Jeff in the studio for the first time in over 17 years. The result is a ripping vocal track with all the vibe of a the old school and the tight drum programming, edits, panning and massive sub-bass of the nu school! 'I Know' was heard on BBC Radio 1 in the mix withe Scratch D of Dynamixx II and huge support from platinum recording artist and king of bass music, DJ Magic Mike. From the first beat to the last whistle this banger is guaranteed to shred the dance floor.
